Anxious for summer at the beach!

Yesterday afternoon Lucas, Kona and decided to take a trip to the beach.  Even though the thermometer read only 47 degrees I've been craving the beach so bad!!  Lucas too, of course, couldn't wait to dig his hands in the sand and play with his toys.

Gotta love his 'girly' sunglasses, ha!

10 weeks

Ugh...unfortunately that about sums up my mood lately.  Nausea has taken over my mornings (thank God not throughout the entire day anymore), and queasiness lingers through the afternoon and night.  I'm able to eat a little more (and healthier too) but it's a chore to make myself eat - every 2 hours!  It was never a problem forcing myself to eat before! On the upside though, the warmer, spring-like weather has certainly lifted my spirits.  When I'm not working I am able to get out with the horses and enjoy the fresh air, even though that means scooping lots of poop! Pete and I both are so anxious for warmer weather.  He told me that he is so excited to work that he could barely sleep the other night - so cute! :-)
Just some things I thank God for right now....
-subsiding throwing up
-warmer weather
-a patient and understanding husband
-and of course, the little peanut growing inside of me!
10 weeks - still nothing new!

1st Appointment

Well, today was the day - to see if the pregnancy test was telling us the truth! We decided to go to Westerly Hospital as it is very close and the staff seem to be really nice and well educated.  We met with Dr.  Andrew Neuhauser and he confirmed the pregnancy!  We are due October 17th 2011, exactly one year and one day from the day we got married!  We were able to have an ultrasound and see our little dot of a baby!  It was a great and emotional first appointment.  Praise God so far so good!

Week 8: Raspberry

Average size: .63 inches, .04 oz.Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.
